Description and Lore:
A wise man does not argue with the Enclave. When they said the Prowler needs a refit to meet their needs, the only thing left to do is start taking notes. Enclave operatives rely on stealth and subtlety to achieve their objectives. But with heightened security nets and ever-increasing patrols, operatives were noticing that more and more missions were requiring... face to face negotiations, so to speak. And while the original Prowler was certainly getting the job done, a saber more dedicated to multiple combat engagements would be preferred.

Any Prowler refit would have to retain the same traits that made the Prowler so popular with Enclave operatives in the first place, but this new Prowler had to be upgraded to be more combat capable. What their engineers came up with is the Prowler V2. Sleek in profile, nothing protrudes so it's easy to conceal. The emitter and pommel taper, so it won't get caught on clothing or snag in a sleeve. Machined grooves run the length of the body to ensure a steel grip in all conditions. The grooves also act to dissipate heat, which is needed since the new Prowler has an upgraded energy cell with over double the capacity of the previous model and a 9-watt blade instead of a 3-watt. Likewise, the blade is now a full 1-inch thick. Even the activation button was upgraded to stainless steel to be more combat capable.

Even with the armistice in place, the shadowy Enclave would not usually allow their technology to be sold on the surplus market.
